Transformer DC resistance testing is a mandatory item for semi-finished products, finished product factory inspections, installation, handover tests, and preventive maintenance conducted by power departments during transformer manufacturing. It effectively detects manufacturing defects such as improper coil material selection, welding flaws, loose connections, missing conductor strands, and wire breakages, as well as potential hazards that arise after operation.
To meet the demand for rapid transformer DC resistance measurement, our company has developed a Transformer DC Resistance Tester leveraging its proprietary technical strengths. This new-generation rapid tester integrates magnetizing method testing, three-phase testing (Yn, Y, △), and demagnetization functions, making it an ideal device for measuring DC resistance in large power transformers. Equipped with a true-color large-screen high-resolution LCD display, it supports touch control and shuttle knob operation for convenient on-site use. Featuring Chinese menu prompts, the operation is simple and intuitive: all DC resistance tests can be completed with a single wiring, ensuring fast testing speed, high accuracy, and a wide measurement range.
Performance Characteristics
★ Three-phase measurement can be used to test Yn, Y, and Δ windings, and the three-phase imbalance rate can be calculated.
★ The test power supply has a maximum output current of 40A and a test range of 0-25kΩ, meeting the testing requirements of most transformers. It also integrates magnetization and demagnetization functions to meet various on-site testing needs.
★ The test process can automatically calculate the resistance change rate at 5S, 15S, and 30S, assisting testers in judging the stability of test data and preventing misreading.
★ The instrument has multiple protection functions, including 380V incorrect connection protection, back EMF protection, open circuit protection, and power failure protection, as well as a grounding wire disconnection alarm function.
★ The instrument is equipped with a thermal printer, with a built-in storage capacity of 200 data entries and support for large-scale storage via USB flash drive.

Troubleshooting
1. When testing the no-load tap changer winding, switching the no-load tap changer is not permitted during testing or before it is fully discharged;
2. Test leads must not be removed during testing;
3. During high-voltage terminal testing, the medium-voltage and low-voltage terminals of the transformer must be open-circuited;
